Questions About Our Books
Which book should I start with?
If you're new to Haitian Creole, start with Kreyo Lingo A1 · Volume 1, then continue with Volumes 2 and 3. If you can already introduce yourself and hold a simple conversation, A2 is for you. B1, B2 and C1 take you from intermediate to advanced. For children, start with Book 1 of Kreyo Lingo A1 for Kids.
Why is each level split into volumes?
One complete level is about 700 pages: heavy to carry, expensive to start and hard to finish. Three volumes of about 230 pages each are easier to study with, cost less to begin, and let you feel real progress every time you finish one. For kids, short books of about 64 pages keep learning fun and quick.
Do I need to buy all 3 volumes?
No. Each volume works on its own and ends with a review. But the volumes follow each other, so to complete A1 you'll want all three. The Complete A1 Set will save you money.
How do I receive the PDF?
Right after payment you'll receive an email with your download link. You can read the PDF on any phone, tablet or computer.
How long does shipping take for the paperback?
Each paperback is printed just for you in about 3–5 business days, then shipped. Delivery time and shipping cost depend on your country, and you'll see both at checkout before you pay.
Why is the paperback a little more expensive?
Every copy is printed on demand, just for you, on quality paper. The Paperback + PDF option gives you both for only $8 more than the paperback alone.
How does the QR audio work?
Each lesson has a QR code. Scan it with your phone camera, log in with the student account you used to buy the book, and that lesson's audio opens in the Kreyo Lingo Audio Library. In the PDF you can also simply tap the code.
Do I need an account?
Yes. You create a free Kreyo Lingo student account when you buy a book or join a waitlist. You use the same login to download your PDF, see your orders and listen to the audio.
Is the audio included with my book?
Yes. Buying a book or volume gives you full access to all the audio for its lessons, at no extra cost. Just scan a QR code and log in.
How do I get 50% off the Audio Library?
After you buy a book, you receive a discount code by email. Use it when you join the Audio Library and you pay half price every month for as long as you stay subscribed.
Can I print the PDF?
Yes, for your own personal use. Please don't share or resell the file.
Do I need the online course too?
No, each book is designed for self-study. The course, private lessons and Audio Library are great additions if you want video, speaking practice or more listening.
When will the other books be available?
A1 · Volume 1 is almost ready. Next come A1 Volumes 2 and 3 and the A1 for Kids books, followed by A2, B1, B2 and C1 (3 volumes each) and the A2, B1 and B2 kids series (6 short books each). Open any book in progress and tap Sign up & join the waitlist. We'll email you the moment it's ready.
What is your refund policy?
PDF: because it's delivered instantly, the PDF can't be refunded once it's downloaded. If your file doesn't open or is damaged, we'll send you a new one. If you haven't downloaded it yet, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days.
Paperback: each copy is printed just for you, so we can't take returns if you change your mind. If your book arrives damaged, misprinted or never arrives, contact us within 30 days of delivery (with a photo if it's damaged) and we'll send a free replacement or give you a full refund.
Audio Library: you can cancel anytime and you won't be charged again. Payments already made are not refunded.
